Children with Coordination Difficulties Course

The South Yorkshire McCain Athletics Network are hosting a coach development course on Wednesday 29th June 2011 at EIS, Sheffield.

The workshop will run from 6.30pm -9.30pm and is delivered by Jo Roberts, Advanced physiotherapist from the Ryegate Children's Centre. It aims to give coaches an insight into the motor difficulties of mainstream school children with Coordination Disorders, Autism, Asperger's Syndrome and ADHD.

The workshop will discuss some theoretical background behind these conditions and some practical and open discussion on how to make coaching sessions inclusive to this group of children.

The course is being offered free to South Yorkshire McCain Athletics Network coaches, and is only 20 to coaches from outside of the network.
